BIOGRAPHY OF THE FOUNDER

Mrs. Nancy Afarkor Nettey (née Odoi) was born in Accra. She began her education at Cambridge Preparatory School, attending from Crèche to Junior High School. She then moved to Wesley Grammar Senior High School, where she studied General Arts for a year, before completing her secondary education at Anum Senior High School.

Her tertiary education began at Alliance D’OR, where she studied Secretarial Science and French, driven by her dream of becoming a bilingual secretary. She excelled and was awarded a scholarship to study Spanish. She further pursued her studies at the Institute of Languages, continuing with French and English, and later completed her tertiary education at Alliance Française, where she studied French.

She started her teaching career at St. Antony’s Preparatory School, where she taught Class Two. She later taught at Feden School of Secretaries and Robert Aryee Memorial Training Institute before concluding her teaching career at Santa Maria Senior High School, where she taught Secretarial Studies before founding her own school in 2000.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  1. Reduced tuition fees to accommodate students and ease the financial burden on parents.
  2. Maintained strict discipline, ensuring students remain focused and responsible.
  3. Secured job placements for students before graduation.
  4. Alumni have secured positions in Ghanaian ministries, while others have traveled abroad to countries such as the United States, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
  5. Made quality education affordable and accessible to students in Ghana, Africa, and beyond.

CONTRIBUTIONS

  1. Helping some students with free tuition
  2. Sheltering some parents and students for free.
  3. Feeding and clothing some of the students for free.
  4. Taking care of the less privileged students in the community.
  5. Payment of some students their exams registration fees for free.
