Alumnus, Francklyds
“Personally, Francklyds was not merely a knowledge bank; it was an embodiment of unity, love, family, and unforgettable experiences. We had teachers who were not focused only on classroom learning but on the holistic development of their students. We could talk to them about our personal lives, seek counsel, and none of this had to be scheduled—they were always willing to pause their activities to focus on our needs at any given time. This gave me a strong sense of filial connection. Truly, it felt like a home away from home. I met my closest friends at Francklyds, and we have since become family for life.
Some of the values I uphold today were honed at Francklyds. The virtue I deem most important, which has stayed with me throughout my journey, is the God factor. From being assigned responsibilities on Wednesday worship days and at occasional Christian events to spending time with men of God, I learned to involve God in every situation—and it has always yielded pleasing results. Indeed, Christ has been the cornerstone of my life.
Another value I owe to my stay at Francklyds is thoroughness. For instance, when we swept our classrooms, we were urged to finish by collecting the rubbish and ensuring the place was as neat as possible. Interestingly, this practice has influenced many aspects of my life. When studying, I make sure to leave no stone unturned—a clean sweep. This virtue has supported me on my journey through my bachelor’s degree. Today, I am a graduate of KNUST and a teaching assistant there, thanks to the solid foundation Francklyds provided.
I hold many values that are deeply ingrained from Francklyds and that have served as guiding principles throughout my life, but these are the ones I have benefited from the most.
To anyone who seeks not only intellectual enrichment but also social and spiritual development, I can confidently attest that Francklyds is the right place to be.”

“Francklyds exceeded my expectations in every way! The supportive community, engaging curriculum, and dedicated faculty made my time there truly unforgettable.
I’m forever grateful to Francklyds School, where I had the privilege of learning and growing under the guidance of our incredible founder, Mrs. Nancy Nettey. Not only did she instill in us a love for learning, but she also taught us the importance of faith and spirituality—taking us to church and showing us how to develop a personal relationship with God.
What stood out most was her motherly love and care. She treated us like her own children, providing a nurturing environment that made us feel safe and supported. Her selflessness and dedication knew no bounds, and she never made us feel like a burden.
I’m thankful for the values and life skills she imparted, which shaped us into the individuals we are today. Francklyds School is more than just a school—it’s a family, and I’ll always cherish the memories and lessons I gained there.
One of my favorite aspects was the opportunity to learn practical life skills, like cooking, which has been incredibly valuable.
I wholeheartedly recommend Francklyds School to anyone seeking a well-rounded education and a supportive community. The connections I made and the lessons I learned will stay with me forever.”

“Being a product of Francklyds has truly shaped my life in remarkable ways. The school provided not only quality education but also instilled in me discipline, confidence, and a strong sense of purpose.
What I liked most about my time at Francklyds were the engaging sessions, the supportive teachers, and the vibrant learning environment that made every student feel valued and inspired to do their best. The extracurricular activities and moral guidance also played a vital role in my personal growth.
Today, I work in IT. My love for technology started at Francklyds, where I was exposed to amazing IT gadgets such as tablets, computers, laptops, and educational games.
The teachers treated us like family. They listened to our problems, supported us when we lacked, and even went out of their way to provide for us.
Mrs. Nettey, who was like a mother to me, showed me love and nurtured me into who I am today. She gave us advice, patiently taught us step by step so that everyone could understand, and cared deeply for our well-being. She wouldn’t sleep if we hadn’t eaten, and she wouldn’t rest if any of us were sick. This motherly love was evident not only to students but also to staff, and it continues to live on in the school. I personally witnessed this spirit of care and love during my internship. May she rest in perfect peace.
Spiritual growth also played a key role in shaping my career. The early morning devotions, church activities, all-night services, fasting, and prayers left a lasting impact on me.
I remember one particular all-night service where the pastor shared a story about a woman who made a covenant with God. God fulfilled His part of the covenant, and she later returned to thank Him with a financial offering. That night, the pastor encouraged us to do the same. I prayed and told God that all I wanted was to start working immediately after completing university. I promised that if He answered me, I would give Him my first salary. Lo and behold, God was faithful—right after my National Service, I was appointed, and I kept my promise by giving my first salary to Him. This experience is just one example of how strongly the Spirit of God is present at Francklyds.
I would recommend Francklyds as a school of choice because it goes beyond academics—it molds students into well-rounded individuals prepared for life’s opportunities, strengthens your relationship with God, and equips you to face difficult challenges. Francklyds is indeed a place where potential is nurtured, dreams are encouraged, and futures are built.”
